Maklaud – Master Djou

A new character of the exclusive Maklaud models – Master Djou, who continues the story of the 16th century Chinese literature monument novel “Journey to the West” by Wu Cheng’en.

The sculpture of Master Djou is inspired by the character of the novel, the companion of the Monkey King Sun Wukong – pig Zhu Bajie.

In the paws of Master Djou you can see his traditional attribute – a nine-toothed rake. According to legend, they were Zhu Bajie’s main weapon, with which he successfully defeated enemies along the way.

The pig’s figure is made of Shokshinsky quartzite in a silver finish.

Of note: almost 2 kg (1.9) of silver was used in the manufacture of the model
