Maklaud – Master Djou

A new character of the exclusive Maklaud models – Master Djou, who continues the story of the 16th century Chinese literature monument novel « Journey to the West » by Wu Cheng’en.

The sculpture of Master Djou is inspired by the character of the novel, the companion of the Monkey King Sun Wukong – pig Zhu Bajie.

In the paws of Master Djou you can see his traditional attribute – a nine-toothed rake. According to legend, they were Zhu Bajie’s main weapon, with which he successfully defeated enemies along the way.

The pig’s figure is made of Shokshinsky quartzite in a silver finish.

Of note: almost 2 kg (1.9) of silver was used in the manufacture of the model
