By Sanches in a new format!
The team sent us their best flavors — but reworked on cigar tobacco! What did they come up with?
Burley leaf as the base, a touch of Connecticut for smoothness, Kentucky for smoky, woody-nutty notes, and a small amount of Virginia for comfortable smoking and stable pH.

Sounds intriguing, so here are our impressions:
Grandma’s Compote — a cherry flavor with a hint of menthol. The aroma fits cigar tobacco beautifully. The taste hasn’t changed but feels more refined thanks to the cigar notes. Surprisingly, Kentucky doesn’t overpower the cherry with smoke.
Tart Pomegranate — the flavor profile stays the same: natural, tangy pomegranate with pleasant astringency. But in this blend, Kentucky adds a strong smokiness that pairs well with the tart character. Interesting, but not for every day — Kentucky can get a bit intrusive.
Rum Baba — arguably the brand’s top flavor. A bright, sweet, unmistakable rum baba profile. You can feel the rum, white sugar glaze, and raisins — which the Kentucky smokiness highlights nicely. But the pastry note is hit-or-miss: some people recognized it clearly, others didn’t taste it at all, saying the Kentucky smoke covered it. As a cigar-leaf version, this flavor isn’t the most successful.
Verdict: an intriguing experiment overall. We’re looking forward to seeing more cigar-leaf releases from the brand!
