Brusko has completely revamped their hookah blend and released a lineup of new flavors!

We’ve been testing and trying the updated Brusko for a while now, and the new packaging design can be seen in photos from JC FEST. The blend is now entirely nicotine-free.

The aroma quality has improved noticeably, but let’s break down the flavors in detail:

  • Buratino Lemonade – It really does resemble the classic Buratino soda, though with a slightly chemical note and some tartness. Not bad at all!
  • Lemon Yogurt – A soft, creamy lemon flavor. We didn’t really catch any yogurt here. It leans more towards a tangy vanilla-lemon profile, great for mixing.
  • Berry Sorbet – A sweet and cold forest-berry mix. Hard to distinguish the exact berries, but nice for a casual smoke.
  • Fresh Strawberry – A solid, slightly artificial but vibrant strawberry. Great in berry or dessert mixes. You can even build a nice “strawberry cookie” flavor with it.
  • Apple Kiwi – A good mix of apple (with a noticeable peel note) and kiwi purée. Works great in blends.
  • Tic Tac – Tastes just like the real mint candies! Refreshing, clean, and very accurate.
  • Tropical Juice – This one surprised us. Like Sapphire, it seems simple but tastes amazing. Definitely passionfruit, probably pineapple too. A perfectly balanced sweet-sour tropical juice.
  • Taiga Berries – Weak flavor. It’s supposed to be forest berries, but the result feels vague and underwhelming. Might lack clarity in the accents.
  • Melon with Pineapple – A great summer combo. Both flavors come through harmoniously. Interestingly, the pineapple leads in the first few puffs, then transitions smoothly to melon.
  • Melon with Cooling – Same tasty melon as above, just solo with a cooling effect.
  • Green Apple – Excellent and natural-tasting apple with a pleasant tartness. Really tastes “green.”
  • Icy Blackcurrant – A decent sweet blackcurrant without any leafy notes. Not the best on the market, but far from the worst. Worth a try.
  • Pear with Melon – The same melon as mentioned earlier, now with a light pear note, closer to a “Duchess” soda vibe. Not bad at all.

Final thoughts: This product has a solid aromatic base and is 100% nicotine-free. For the professional hookah scene, it will probably be interesting mainly from a mixology perspective — which is exactly how we felt. We’ll definitely be using some of these flavors, as a few were genuinely surprising.
