The Green Drop
Today we’re sharing our impressions of three flavors from Severniy and Severniy Professional — all united, in our opinion, by one color: pear cider, baked apple, and Green Mile.

Green Mile (Severniy) — a cocktail of orange juice with sweet kiwi pieces and a touch of refreshing absinthe on the finish. A very interesting mix! It feels like the only blend on the market where absinthe plays a supporting role instead of overpowering everything. The orange is bright, while the kiwi adds more texture than flavor.
Pear Cider (Severniy) — an aroma of a semi-dry drink with a refined taste of ripe garden pears and a light tartness. There’s indeed a pleasant hint of acidity, but the main flavor doesn’t quite read as cider. To us, it’s closer to baked pear, almost like the one from a pear-and-gorgonzola pizza.
Baked Apple (Severniy Professional) — baked apple with notes of caramel, vanilla, and raisin on the finish. A great baked apple profile — hard to describe, but think of apples with dried fruits and warm spices. Top-notch!
