Old but Gold

Darkside has released a classic red apple flavor. We smoked it several times, and here’s what we think:

Retro Apple — It really does have the texture of a red apple: a note of peel, a dry sweetness. But at its core, it’s just a standard apple flavor you can find anywhere on the market — the extra notes mentioned above didn’t quite make it a true “red apple” profile. It’s basically a regular apple with hints of red. We also didn’t love the aftertaste of dried apple slices. Not bad, but a bit weak.
