A review of the «JOYS» HOOKAH TOBACCO.

Hello, dear readers! Today on the review is “JOYS” tobacco. According to the manufacturer, both lines use tobacco leaf of the Italian Virginia, flavorings-from Europe. It took two years to develop and refine the product. Tobacco has an excise tax. It’s packed in a 50g cardboard package with a vacuum bag inside.  It has a rather pleasant aroma from the package, while smoking it’s supplemented by the taste of tobacco. There are 2 lines of the strength: light and medium. The normal amount of molasses and cutting is medium . The strength is really corresponds to the declared one. While smoking , you can feel the taste of tobacco leaf.  When overheated, it behaves stably and recovers after it, in general, the heat resistance is fine. Aromatics disappear after 40 minutes of smoking. It’s best to use a straight-flow bowl for smoking.

And now about each taste in more details.

-Mexican berries (a combination of fresh cactus berries with sweet gooseberries).

Quite an unusual taste, I would say spicy. Some berries with spices. And most likely tobacco gives this flavor of spices, which means that the flavor does not interact well with tobacco raw materials, or it may be a special idea of the manufacturer. It’s very specific, worth a try. This taste is from the «medium line».

-Feijoa-strawberry

There is a clear aroma of feijoa from the package, strawberries in the background. When smoking, strawberries are barely noticeable. This taste is from the medium line too.

-Cherrystone

It smells like cherry marmalade candy from the packaging, similar to smoking . If it didn’t have the taste of raw materials, the taste would be juicier. This taste is from a «light line» of strength.

-Pineapple and strawberry sorbet.

It doesn’t smell very good from the pack, but while smoking, it really tastes like sorbet. This taste is from a light line.

Sum up.

The product clearly needs improvement. I didn’t really like the taste of tobacco, but I think there are fans. Of the advantages, it is worth noting: heat resistance, strength. I would like to mention the marketing of this product, the style of drawn “erotica”. This style is not an innovation in the hookah industry, but it causes controversy among consumers. The retail price according to the manufacturer will be 240 rubles per 50g. There are better products for this price . But it’s definitely worth a try. Who knows, maybe in the future it will be in the tops of hookah tobacco.
