Smoke is a food

Smoke is a food

The world of food goes beyond plates and perhaps smoke is the flavor that

has yet to be recognized.

1. New Definition of «Food»

Food is not just something that is chewed and swallowed; rather, anything that enters the body and

nourishes a sense is a form of food.

Smoke enters the body, provides a sense of pleasure or relaxation, so it can be considered a type of

food.

2. Served alongside food

In many cafes and restaurants, hookah or cigarettes are served as part of the dining experience.

Just like drinks are served alongside food, smoke is also a separate item on the table.

3. Different Ways of Serving

Just as foods are cooked and served in different ways, smoke also has various styles, such as fruity hookahs

and cigarettes, which complement the dining atmosphere.

4. Position on the Menu

When an item appears on the menu, it means that restaurants consider it as important as the other offerings.

Some restaurants are even specifically designed for hookah and smoke, meaning this item is as significant as

a main course.

5. Similarity Between Smoke and Food

Just as food is chewed and swallowed, smoke is «consumed» through the lungs.

Both stimulate the senses of taste and smell.

Some types of smoke, like hookah smoke, have aromas and flavors that are as delightful as food.

6. Cultural and Social Role

In many cultures, smoke (like hookah) is a social experience, just as eating is a social activity.

People use smoke for pleasure, relaxation, or even during special ceremonies, much like drinking coffee or

having dessert after a meal.

7. The Paradox of Smoke

If smoke isn’t food, then why does it have aroma and flavor?

Some people can’t live without smoke, just as they can’t live without food!

Smoke is also a meal, consumed with the mouth and lungs!

8. Smoke, Meaning, and Flavor

We only consider what we eat with our mouths as food, but isn’t something that nourishes our soul or mind

also a form of food?

Smoke is like food that enters the lungs directly, not the stomach!

Flavors have no end, foods are still yet to be fully discovered;

Smoke is one of them.

Conclusion: When smoke is included on the menu of a cafe or restaurant, it becomes more than just a

habit; it becomes an essential part of the customer experience. Just like the quality of food and beverages, the

quality and presentation of smoke should be given the same attention, as it directly influences the customer’s

feelings, pleasure, and satisfaction. While the traditional definition of food may be limited to things that are

chewed, the human experience goes beyond these definitions, and smoke, when served thoughtfully, can play

an important role in creating a complete and enjoyable dining experience
